It is just about a month from the first signs of spring and I am looking up at our trees. I stopped today after looking at one tree all winter and liberated a tangled large tarp-sized piece of plastic. It took me about 5 minutes of ginger movements to remove the plastic tightly wound around the small tree.
One of my favorite trees has about five bags or pieces of bags in it. While this page is largely a placeholder, I’m going to fill it up with some before and after photos of trees I liberated from human litter. Apparently some other humans have invented a tool for plastic removal from trees. Here’s a funny song about plastic in trees. Enjoy!
