I am fortunate enough to live in a location where roads close and parades for holidays and festivals often come through. Its has been four months and there are still a ragtag of colorful flickering plastic streamers and ribbons in the several of the trees on my street from the Mummers back on January 1. I cannot reach it all, but when I can and I am healthy enough, I started trying to carefully remove it. Here are some of my photographed “rescue efforts” this year of trees from plastic.
