Mar 16 2021 [Gab About Goats]

My wife and I went to Delaware for 2 1/2 days during her professor career spring break. Delaware has plenty of litter on the roads and I saw cleanup crews in yellow vests out there cleaning it up during the day several times. Today I share an adventure getaway story though pictures, in part with, as you may have guessed it, goats!

What’s the best way to get to Delaware? For me it was taking the Cape May / Lewis Ferry for the first time in my life. It was chilly, but fun.
Some of the best of my US is in this picture.
A “C” on the sea, by the jetty on the way from Cape May
It was 52/11 degrees and windy but someone was out windsurfing. Our Atlantic ocean is a whole lot colder.
What did the sea say to us as we left the harbor? Nothing, it just waved!
In Lewes, Delaware, Megan found “The Answer.”

and my goat friend Bunny in the morning … more goat fun to come in this slideshow
Driving along, this looked a little scary from the road, but I loved the spirit
Mispillion River in Milford, Delaware – one of my favorite hidden jems of our adventure

Megan loved the public art boats
Cool boat mosaic, I loved the trees – my goal is to duplicate those trees somehow with mosaics
so charming – this is still Milford, Delaware – a small little town with an ornate woodwork boardwalk
Feeding friendly goats makes you feel so human when you’re sick
this was a moment of true joy for me – these goats are fearless, friendly and hungry
Hi, I’m in Dover, the first state and capital of Delaware
I hope our country is united – I do not feel like it
A liberty bell replica from France in Dover, DE – We have now seen 2 of the 53 replicas of the Philadelphia Liberty Bell. Juno, Alaska has the other one we’ve seen.

This picture on the Wilmington Riverwalk is symbolic of what was about to happen next – it started hailing right around the time I took this photo. I hobbled quickly back to our car. It was our last stop on our adventure.
You have reached my final picture. My wife made this bada$$ fire. I was feeling awful. I came outside into the cold to this on our second night. We sang songs in french (well mostly Megan) and english. It was fun and uplifting! Thanks for reading my gab about goats, Delaware and other stuff. Here’s the link again the great AirBnb in central Delaware I used at the hub to all these adventures and more: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/36799772
If you have come this far and care to lose some more brain cells – here’s a 90 second video featuring some of my goat feeding highlights
